Wind turbine gears

Wind turbines are operated and controlled remotely. Remarkable amount of data is collected from the running machinery 24/7. Monitoring the gear box condition is one of the most important tasks. Detection of metal particles in lube oil is method which well in advance gives alert about pending failure, even before temperature rise or vibration alerts. Sensors can be standalone sensors connected to each engine. Several machineries at the same site are controlled usually from remote control room via sensor digital interface to one control room graphical user interface.

CPD02 is especially designed for transmissions and hydraulics applications where chip size of 100µm is signal of possible bending failure. Any type of metal particles can be detected both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic like gear or roller bearing metals.

Thrusters and transmissions

CPD02 is especially designed for transmissions and hydraulics applications where chip size of 100µm is signal of possible bending failure. Ship propulsion and especially azimuth propulsion will have great benefit of CPD02 early warning signals in order to minimize maintenance costs.
